The AUNE X1s GT is the 8th generation of the legendary X1 series. The GT is a milestone in the development of DAC headphone amplifier combos. It uses PLL Phase Locked Loop technology across all input channels. A special development step is the digital-audiophile clock sync design. There is even the possibility to connect an external clock via the BNC (Aune Xc1 recommended). The headphone amplifier design includes 4 completely independent headphone amplifiers with a total of 277 components. Aune does not use the standard filters of the SABRE transducer chip but develops in 200 days of work a completely own filter design with 4 different modes.

PLL (PHASE LOCKED LOOP TECHNOLOGY. 
The X1s GT uses a high performance PLL chip from ADI. The jitter is very low. The PLL core outputs clock signals with low jitter to XMOS and DAC simultaneously according to the music being played. Therefore, the digital signals are better.

CLOCK SYNCHRONISATION TECHNOLOGY.
The X1s GT provides clock synchronisation for the entire unit. The clock signals from the PLL are synchronised by XMOS and ES9038Q2M. The DAC operates in synchronised mode. No ASRC. (PLL operates in all digital input modes: USB, coaxial, optical.) The entire unit has one clock source. EXTERNAL MASTER CLOCK INPUT. The X1s GT supports an external 10M clock input. A high quality clock is the source of the PLL core.

COMPLEX AMPLIFIER BOARD CONSISTING OF 4 DISCRETE HEADPHONE AMPLIFIERS.
4.4mm fully balanced output (1200mW) and 6.35mm unbalanced output. 96 bjts, +- 9 volts.

AUNE PROPRIETARY FILTER TECHNOLOGY.
Instead of using the standard ES9038 series filter modes, we have developed 4 filter modes for the X1s GT using our own algorithm.
